Epicity over AutoPilot, is never late to become your best self.

There is a Pandemic happening in our society, you can escape the hamster wheel but as time passes, we forget and get again on Auto-Pilot

The past pandemic brought about a lot of changes in our lives. From the way we work to the way we socialize, it seems like everything has been affected. One thing that has also been impacted is our sense of purpose and direction. Even though many movements (like the Great US Resignation) came after it, with people seeking being more independent and setting their life priorities straight, now… as time has passed, we seem to be forgetting those “new-found” meanings.

Many of us have been living on autopilot, just going through the motions without really pursuing anything meaningful or fulfilling. Wake up, brush your teeth, go to work, eat, coffee… it is a routine where we see Weekdays as work days and weekends as resting days.

Are you not tired of average life-styles? It’s time to stop the autopilot pandemic and start pursuing epicity instead.

What is epicity?

Epicity can be described as the pursuit of epic experiences and achievements that make us feel truly alive. It’s about pushing ourselves to do things that challenge us, excite us, and make us grow. It’s about taking risks, stepping out of our comfort zones, and embracing the unknown. It’s about living a life that is truly worth living.

Can you imagine being a Polyglot? Using all the free tools online to learn a language, or bringing your career to the next level with a couple digital certifications? The tools are out there for you to use, but you need to embrace Epicity.

Living on autopilot, on the other hand, is like going through life with blinders on. We follow the same routine day after day, never really questioning whether it’s what we truly want. We settle for the status quo and never really strive for anything more. We let fear hold us back and never take the risks necessary to achieve greatness.

So how do we stop the autopilot pandemic and start pursuing epicity?

Here are some ideas:

  1. Identify what truly matters to you. Take some time to reflect on what you really want out of life. What are your passions, your values, your dreams? Once you know what matters most to you, it will be easier to pursue those things with purpose and intention.
  2. Set ambitious goals. Once you know what you want, set goals that will challenge you and push you to grow. Don’t settle for mediocrity — aim for greatness. As soon as you achieve one, find another bigger within your reach.
  3. Embrace discomfort. Growth and greatness often come with discomfort. Don’t be afraid to step out of your comfort zone and try new things. Embrace the unknown and see where it takes you, a real champion is that one who embraces the unknown.
  4. Take daily action. Goals are nothing without action. Take consistent, purposeful action towards your goals every day. Make progress, even if it’s small, and you’ll soon see the results of your efforts. We are the habits we develop.
  5. Celebrate your wins. When you achieve something great, celebrate it! Acknowledge your hard work and the effort it took to get there. And then set your sights on your next big goal. Share it with your people, be proud of yourself.

The autopilot pandemic may have left many of us feeling lost and directionless, but it’s not too late to change course. By pursuing epicity, we can live a life that is truly fulfilling and meaningful. It’s time to step out of the routine and start living with purpose and intention. Are you ready to pursue epicity?
